Summary

Gymnastics is a sport involving a variety of physical exercises requiring balance, strength, flexibility, agility, coordination, and endurance. It encompasses several disciplines such as artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, trampoline gymnastics, and acrobatic gymnastics, each with its unique set of skills and apparatus. Competitions are held at local, national, and international levels, featuring routines set to music, intricate choreography, and dynamic movements. Gymnastics promotes overall physical fitness, mental focus, and discipline, and it's often practiced from a young age through adulthood for both recreational and competitive purposes.

Rules & Regulations

Age Group                           :      Boys and Girls 06 Years (Born on or after 01/01/2018)

                                                   Boys and Girls 08 Years (Born on or after 01/01/2016)

                                                   Boys and Girls 10 Years (Born on or after 01/01/2014)

                                                   Boys and Girls 12 Years (Born on or after 01/01/2012)

Criteria for registration      :      Child must be a bonafide student of the participating school

                                                   & should not be a medal winner at District/ State/ National

                                                   competitions.

Rules and Regulations for Competition:

  1. School/Participant must register on or before the last date of registration. Last-minute entries are not allowed.
  1. Club participation is not allowed. The participation will be permitted through schools only.
  2. Age proof of the participants must be produced if requested by the organising committee or any technical member of the committee. (Aadhaar card, School ID card, Birth certificate).
  3. Participants are advised to get their own snacks and lunch.
  4. For age group 6 years category participants (boys and girls) will have only 1 apparatus floor exercise.
  5. Participants can only participate in 2 apparatus for age group of 8 years, 10 years and 12 years.

Gymnastics Basic Level Competition - 6 years Floor Exercises (Boys & Girls)

Gymnast both boys & girls have only Floor exercise & have to perform skills from the below table. Each gymnast should perform 8 elements from the below table, a maximum of 8 elements will be considered.

  9. The final score (out of 20.00) is calculated by adding the D score and E score.

SPRINGBOARD (Boys 10yrs):

Participants have to perform 2 jumps on the springboard from the list given below:

  1. Each jump has a 'D' score of 5.00 for each attempt, resulting in a D score of 10.00.
  2. The execution score for each jump is out of 5.00 points. The final score (out of 20.00) is the combined score of the two jumps.
  3. This score of 2 vaults (out of 20.0) will be considered for the All-Around and Event championship.

 Balancing Beam (Girls 10yrs)

  1. It has 3 compulsory elements. A bonus of 0.5 points for completing 3 compulsory elements is awarded and total of 2.00 points will be C.R. points.
  2. Maximum 'Difficulty Elements’ value is 8 points.
  3. The 'E' score is determined by subtracting the execution deductions from 10.00.
  4. The final score (out of 20.00) is calculated by adding the D score and E score.

  1. Height of vault: 110 cm
  2. It is compulsory for participants to perform any 2 different vaults.
  3. Each jump has a 'D' score of 5.00 for each attempt, resulting in a D score of 10.00.
  4. The execution score for each jump is out of 5.00 points. The final score (out of 20.00) is the combined score of the two vaults.
  5. This score of 2 vaults (out of 20.0) will be considered for the All-Around and Event championship.
  6. If a gymnast misses the first attempt, he/she is given another chance but with a 2.00 deduction from the final score. Only 3 such chances will be given.
