  1. Soccer Fiesta: The game is an exciting and vibrant event where young players of Junior KG & Senior KG showcase their skills in a fun and friendly atmosphere. Each player is required to wear the appropriate equipment, including a jersey, shorts, footwear, and long socks with protective guards, ensuring safety during the game. The matches take place on a soft, colourful soccer field, clearly marked with lines and soccer markers to facilitate gameplay. This event is all about teamwork, enjoyment, and celebrating the spirit of soccer!

  • The markings area:
  • Goalkeeping Area: Defined at each end of the pitch as a semi-circle around the goal, exclusive to the goalkeepers.
  • Halfway Mark: The center mark at the midpoint of the halfway line, where teams start and restart the game.
  • Penalty Mark: The penalty spot marked just outside the goalkeeping area.
  • Corners and Throw-Ins: There are no corners; play always starts from a goal kick. In case of a throw-in, players restart from the side-line.
  • Squads
  • The event is designed for Junior KG & Senior KG learners. Each match consists of two teams, with a maximum of 5-6 players on the pitch at any given time.
  • The game will be played with all players and no goalkeeper, emphasizing teamwork and participation.
  • Game Format
  • Players will focus on shooting directly at the goal rather than passing the ball. The goal is to encourage children to aim for the goal and develop their shooting skills.
  • Teams will participate in additional fun activities, such as “dribbling through cones,” to enhance their soccer experience and improve coordination.
  • Duration
  • Games will be divided into three equal periods, each lasting 6 minutes. Half-time intervals are a maximum of 2-3 minutes unless altered by the referee.
  • Added time (injury time) will be allocated if stoppages occur in the third period.
  • Scoring and Winning
  • A goal is awarded if the entire ball crosses the goal line. A goal is not awarded if the ball is thrown by hand.
  • Each team will aim to score as many goals as possible. If teams score an equal number of goals, the game ends in a draw. In tournaments, penalty shootouts will determine a winner.
  • Kick-Off
  • A kick-off will be performed at the start of each period and after a goal is scored. All players must be in their half when the opposing team takes a kick-off. The ball must be stationary on the center mark, and the kicker cannot touch the ball more than twice until another player has touched it.
  • Goals may be scored directly from the kick-off.
  • Out of Play
  • If the ball goes out of bounds or is lodged within barriers, the game will restart with a ‘drop ball’. The referee will release the ball between two players, and play will commence once the ball touches the ground.
  • Fouls and Misconduct

Fouls resulting in a ‘direct’ free kick will include:

  • Dangerous Play: Kicking, tripping, or charging an opponent.
  • Excessive Tackling: Reckless or careless tackles.
  • Hand Ball: Intentional handling of the ball by a player (except the goalkeeper in their area).
  • Penalty kick takers must have a minimum 15-yard run-up. All defending players must remain outside the goal area during the penalty kick.

  • Celebration and Tokens
  • Goals will be celebrated with cheers from teammates and spectators.
  • Each participant will receive a playful token or sticker at the end of the event to commemorate their participation.
  • The event will conclude with a joyful victory dance or cheer involving all participants, ensuring a memorable and engaging experience for everyone.
