Rules & Regulations: Minithon for Children
1. All race participants will get:
a. Bib – All Races
b. Winners – Certificates, Medal and Gift Hampers
2. Eligibility- The minithon is open to students from (12 years, 14years and 16 years)
3. Registration is on First come First Serve Basis. Late registrations will not be accepted.
4. Age Categories- Races will be divided into below mentioned age categories to ensure fair competition.
a. 12 years: 2 KM Run
b. 14 years: 3 KM Run
c. 16 years: 4 KM Run
5. Health Check- Participants must be in good health and have no pre-existing medical conditions that could pose a risk during the minithon. A medical check-up may be required before the event.
6. Attire- All participants must wear appropriate sports attire. Running shoes are mandatory for safety reasons.
7. Bibs and Timing- Participants will be assigned a bib number, which must be securely pinned to the front of their jersey. (Electronic timing devices may be used.)
8. Hydration- Water stations will be available along the route. Participants are encouraged to stay hydrated before, during, and after the event.
9. Parental Supervision- Parents or guardians are welcome to accompany younger participants during the race.
10. Code of Conduct- Participants must exhibit good sportsmanship and respect for fellow runners. Any form of cheating or unsportsmanlike behaviour will result in disqualification.
11. Emergency Procedures- In case of an emergency, medical personnel will be on standby. Parents/guardians will be notified immediately if medical attention is required.
12. Weather Conditions- The minithon will proceed rain or shine unless severe weather conditions pose a safety risk. In such cases, the event may be rescheduled.
13. Spectator Guidelines- Spectators are encouraged to support participants from designated areas. Spectators must not interfere with the race or obstruct the route.
