Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a circular field. The batting team aims to score runs, while the bowling team aims to dismiss batsmen

RULES:

The Field

Match will be held on Natural grass

No Entries will be entertained without the Final Team List

 

Player

Team of 11 players + 4 substitute = 15 Players can be registered.

No team will be allowed with less than 11 players, in case it does happen the game will be awarded to the opponent.

 

Player Equipment

Players must be dressed in proper Cricket attire i.e., Jersey and Cricket Pants.

Jersey colour should be distinguishable from the opponent.

 

The Ball

Leather ball will be used for the Tournament.

 

Duration of the match

The team must report 30 minutes prior to the scheduled time to sign the register and briefing.

 

Overs

10 Overs Match.

5 bowlers to ball. (1 Bowlers to ball 2 overs only)

 

Tie Breaker

Teams will have one over match if the score is tied.

If the Super over 1 is a tie then we will have Super over 2.

If super over 2 is also a tie, then the match will be decided by flipping of a coin.

 

Infringement

If any team walks out of the ground in protest during the playtime, the team will be disqualified from the tournament

Except the players and officials no one can enter the fields during the match

If any player who is identified as not a Parents with respective school, the team will be disqualified from ​ ​the tournament.

The decision of the referee will be final in all matters during the match. No protest will be entertained against the referee’s decision.

 

General

Any request for the postponement or changes of match timing will not be entertained

No player will be allowed to enter the ground wearing any jewellery like a ring, chain, watch, or even metal spectacles.

In matters of doubt not covered in the tournament rules, the decision of the tournament committee shall be final and binding on all concerned.

 

Note

It is mandatory for all the participants to carry their ward school ID Card. On failing to do so the team will be liable to be disqualified.

The organiser has the right to disqualify any team or participant for disciplinary reasons from the tournament.

The organiser has the right to reject any entry without assigning any reason whatsoever.

Tournament Rules & regulations will be available 1 month prior to the tournament dates.

Overs: Each match consists of five overs, with five new bowlers delivering the overs.

Basic cricket Rules to be followed. (No Ball and Wide Ball Not counted, on No - Ball Free Hit will be given)

Ball: Leather Ball will be used for the tournament (The same will be made available by the school).

Type of Venue: Matches will be conducted on artificial turf. Compact field size designed for 11 players.

Tournament Format: The matches are structured as League come knockout rounds.

Tie Breaker: In the event of a tie, a one-over match will be played. In case the match is a tie again in this event the winners will be decided by a Coin Toss

NO UNNECESSARY RETIRED HURT WILL BE ENTERTAINED.

Walking out in protest leads to disqualification.

No unauthorised entry during play.

The referee’s decision will be final; no protests against decisions.

It is essential for all participants to have their child’s school ID Card with them. Failure to adhere to this requirement could lead to the possibility of disqualification for the team.

The organiser reserves the authority to disqualify any team or participant from the tournament due to disciplinary reasons.

The organiser holds the prerogative to decline any entry without providing any explanation whatsoever.

No postponement or timing changes.

No jewellery on players; decision of tournament committee final in rule gaps.

It is essential for all selected participating parents of the final team to kindly submit a photocopy of their child’s school ID Card along with their own Photo ID.

The Organising committee reserves the right to modify or revise the rules. 

The game rules will be implemented as adopted by the Organisers.

The Referee’s decision shall be final and binding on both teams’ players and officials. 

The organisers hold no responsibility for any injuries, fractures, damage, or accidents during the

competition. 

All players/participants and team officials must adhere to the rules set by the Organising Committee. 

Entries will be purely on a First come First serve basis. The total team allowed is 8 & 16.

Participants/teams must report to the competition venue at least 30 minutes before the scheduled event time. 

The organisers are not liable for any loss of personal belongings. 

Any weapons, sharp objects, or objectionable items will be confiscated immediately. 

Unruly behaviour, violence, offensive language, smoking on the premises, and possession or use of abusive substances like alcohol will result in the immediate disqualification of the entire school contingent to which the offending students belong.

The entry form must be properly filled in, stamped, and signed by the principal, and submitted along with the entry fee at the fee counter between 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. 

Protest Procedure: Any protest must be lodged within half an hour of the match’s conclusion through the accredited Sports in charge/Coach of the team, along with a protest fee of Rs. 1500/-. The protest must be submitted to the Organising secretary. 

The referee’s decision is final and binding on both teams’ players and officials. 

Players/teams must present Aadhar cards and School ID cards upon request, and photocopies of the same must be submitted along with the complete team list to the Organising committee before the first game. 

Requests for rescheduling or altering match timings will not be considered.

Players are prohibited from wearing any form of jewellery, including rings, chains, watches, or metal spectacles, while on the field.
