Summary

Handball, a vibrant team sport played either indoors or outdoors, involves teams comprising seven players, including a goalkeeper, striving to hurl a ball into the opposing team's goal. Participants execute passes, dribbles, and shots, employing rapid movements and strategic tactics to outwit their rivals. The sport underscores the importance of teamwork, effective communication, agility, and precise shooting. Matches unfold with rapid intensity, as each side endeavors to outscore its adversary. Rules & Regulations

Rules:

1. Only the first 16 Team entries are allowed to participate in each category (10,12,14 & 16 Years Boys and Girls).

2.  Only one Team can represent the school under each category (12,14 and 16 Boys and Girls).

3. A Team can have 12 players plus two officials, for the age group 12,14 & 16 Years.  

4. The tournament will be played on a League cum Knock out basis. In the league, each team will play two to three games.

5.   Game timings: 10 minutes each half, with 2 minutes break.

6. In case of a colour clash, a toss of a coin before the commencement of the match shall decide as to which team shall wear the Bibs.

7.   The players should be wearing appropriate shoes for the Game.

8.   Matches will be played according to the IHF rules & as adopted by the District Association.

9.   The players and the team officials shall abide by all the rules of the Tournament Committee.

10. The Organising Committee reserves the right to alter or amend the rules of the Tournament.

11. The referee's decisions shall be final and binding on the players and officials of both teams.

12. Protest: Any protest, if at all lodged, must be done through the accredited Sports in charge/coach of the team within half an hour of the conclusion of the match along with a protest Fee of Rs.1500/-. The protest fee must be handed over to the Organising Secretary.

13.  All the Players are required to carry their original school ID Cards & Aadhar cards with them

during the tournament at the respective venues. The players should produce their ID Cards at the venue as and when asked for it.
