Get ready for the most highly anticipated event of VIBGYOR Viva – “Viva Nova!” This extraordinary competition takes centre stage as the highlight of our Premier Competitions.
As the name suggests, Viva Nova is all about finding the most confident and vibrant stars out there. It’s a personality contest that allows individuals to showcase their unique talents and leave an indelible mark on the audience.
Calling all rising stars to shine brighter than ever before and dazzle us with their energy and zest as they vie for the prestigious titles of Viva Nova Boy and Girl.
There is no limit on the number of entries allowed from one school, junior college, academy, or institute.
The theme for the Finale will be announced during the first week of December.
All participants must strictly adhere to the theme and dress code, as they will be taken into consideration while determining the final scores.
Participants can register in any of the 11 cities, but only one chance will be given per participant. Finalists from all cities will be provided with travel, food and accommodation for the Finale.

Online Participation : This is applicable only for overseas participants. Interested participants must send their entries in the following format: High definition (HD) video in MP4 format, with sizes ranging from 720p (1280 x 720 pixels) to 1080p
(1920 x 1080 pixels) between 1st September 2023 to 10th October 2023 at viva@vgos.org

Shortlisted participants from online entries (overseas only) will compete at the Online Knockout round.
The Knockout Round :
Both the qualifying participants from offline Round 2 and those who qualified through the online audition (overseas contestants) will unite for an electrifying online live Knockout Round.
Audition Round 1: Talent Round
Duration : 2 Minutes per performance
Each participant will be given 3 minutes (1 minute introduction + 2 minutes talent routine) to introduce themselves and showcase their talent.
Participants are expected to bring their tracks on Pen drives.
Judging Criteria for Audition Round 1 will be:
Overall Presentation, Talent, Personality, Academic and Sports achievements, Presence of mind
Audition Round 2 : Meet the Judges & Question Round :
Shortlisted boys and girls from Audition Round 1 will go through the following in this Round:
A: Meet the Judges
Duration : 1 minute per participant
They will interact with the judges informally.
Judging criteria:
Confidence , Presence of Mind, Originality , Pertinence
B : Question Round :
Participants will then have a Question-and-Answer session with the judges.

Appropriateness of Answer.
Knockout Round: Talent Round
This round will be a thrilling ONLINE LIVE event, allowing participants selected from the city auditions to showcase their skills to a wide audience. They can showcase their unique talents in singing, dancing, mimicry, oration, instrumental music, and more.
Duration : 3 Minutes per performance
Judging Criteria: Originality, Performance Presentation
Please take note that participants may only use instruments such as guitars, flutes, drums, or any other backup prop if they themselves will be playing or operating them. No backup artists will be allowed. For instance, supporting drummers or guitarists will neither be provided nor allowed for any routine to be performed in the Talent Round.
Only the most talented students who make it through the Knockout Round will be eligible to compete in the highly anticipated Viva Nova Finale.
We eagerly look forward to witnessing exceptional performances and discovering the brightest stars among our talented Semi-Finalists.
If chosen for the Finale, the shortlisted finalists from all cities must submit their minus track/back up/instrumental music by 5th December 2023 via email to viva@vgos.org.
Viva FINALE:
The finalist from the Knockout round will vie for the title of Viva Nova Boy and Viva Nova Girl. They will go through a Question-and-Answer Round followed by a Ramp walk.
Question & Answer Round:
Each contestant will randomly pick a question from the bowl presented to them.
They must provide an appropriate and precise answer to the question they selected.
The contestants’ answers should not exceed 01.00 minute (one minute) in length.
Judging Criteria:
Confidence, Presence of Mind, Originality, and Pertinence
Ramp Walk Round:
On the day of Finale, Viva Nova Finalists along with Question and Answer Round will go through the final round – The Ramp Walk.
The Ramp Walk will be expertly choreographed by professionals, adding a touch of finesse to your performance. All contestants must follow the provided Theme and Dress Code during their walk.
Attendance at all rehearsals is mandatory for all contestants. Your dedication will ensure an outstanding show.
Let your confidence, grace, and elegance shine as you walk the runway in your perfectly styled attire.
Ramp Walk Duration : 10 minutes.
Judging Criteria:
Confidence, Grace & Elegance Appropriateness of Attire Attention all participants.
Breakup of the final score will be as follows:
Knock Out round results + Meet the judges + Question Round + Ramp Walk
All selected participants are expected to dress appropriately in outfits relevant to their performances. We encourage creativity and style that complements their talent.
Please be aware that any revealing or offensive outfits will result in immediate disqualification. We value and respect professionalism, and inappropriate attire will not be tolerated.
The Organizers reserve the right to disqualify participants for wearing inappropriate costumes or attire.
Participants must share images of their costumes for the Knockout Round and Finale with their City Event Coordinators via email for approval at least 7 days prior to the event.
The decisions made by the judges are final, and no further queries will be entertained.
The rules are subject to change at the discretion of the Organizers. Failure to meet the criteria will result in disqualification.
